Individuals: Christian Folini

Christian Folini is the author of the 2nd Edition of the ModSecurity Handbook and one of the few teachers on this subject. He serves as Vice President of the federal public-private-partnership "Swiss Cyber Experts" and as the Program Chair of the Swiss Cyber Storm conference. Timetable information and real-time information on public transport in Switzerland have been available on a new platform since 2 December 2016. It was drawn up by Swiss Federal Railways (SFR) on behalf of the Swiss Confederation. The Federal Office of Transport (FOT) has commissioned SFR as the system operator to set up and operate an open data platform for the entire Swiss public transport system. The open data platform ÖV Schweiz provides all timetable data supplied by the licensed transport companies involved as well as the current and expected traffic situation of public transport in real time. Users are companies and startups that process the data and compile customer information for travelers. In line with the Federal Council's "Open Data"strategy and as a contribution to the implementation of the DETEC's "Digital Switzerland" strategy, innovations are to be facilitated and promoted by the private sector.
