After studying political science at the University of Zurich, Corinna started working as a political consultant, developed digital news services for Swiss media and worked in digital marketing. Being data-driven from the very beginning, Corinna is now working at the Statistical Office of the Canton of Zurich to provide services to the public and the authorities while expanding her expertise with an MAS in Data Science. For Corinna, data science, a kind of buzzword for statistics, is ultimately a matter of refining raw data into information and knowledge. She strives to make data not only accessible to everyone but also understandable through great visualizations and by building up the data competence of the general public as well as that of the data owners.
