Graduated in humanities and ancient philology in 1995, after a master's degree in computer science in 2004, he began collaborating on Wikipedia since 2005 as a volunteer until he founded Wikimedia CH and Wikimedia Italy in 2006. After a long working experience in information technology, he joined the staff of Wikimedia CH where he currently follows the educational projects, the Italian language community and the development of IT projects. From 2017 he also began a career as a teacher in high school.
