Josefine Hintz

ICLEI Europe, Sustainable Economy and Procurement - Officer

Josefine Hintz is working with public authorities around the world to leverage public spend create environmental and societal value. Josefine joined ICLEI’s Sustainable Economy and Procurement team in October 2018. She leads on global and European projects and networks such as Make ICT Fair, AI4Cities, Global Lead Cities Network, the One Planet Network Sustainable Public Procurement Programme. Prior to that Josefine studied the MSc in Sustainable Urbanism from The Bartlett, UCL and working as a research associate at the Circular Cities Hub at UCL, London, UK. Her research was focused on analyzing challenges, benefits and potential disadvantages of the circular transition, working with various circular experiments. Furthermore, Josefine is a Climate KIC alumna and holds a BA Liberal Arts Education from Leuphana University Lüneburg, Germany and Sungkyunkwan University, Seoul, South Korea.
